Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Dampier Peninsula, Dampier Peninsula, Kimberley Region, Western Australia

Your full-day visit to Cape Leveque begins with an early morning departure from Broome by 4WD. Listen to your guide's fascinating commentary as you travel through the Dampier Peninsula, a remote Aboriginal-owned coastal area of red desert crossed only by dirt tracks.

Stop At: Beagle Bay, Australia

Stop for morning tea at the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, and admire the shimmering pearl-shell altar of the community's Beagle Bay church.

Stop At: One Arm Point, Dampier Peninsula WA 6725, Australia

Then travel north to the remote One Arm Point Community, the perfect place to view the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago and witness the huge tidal flows of the Kimberley.

Stop At: Broome-Cape Leveque Rd 240 km north of Broome, Dampier Peninsula, Western Australia 6725 Australia

On nearby Cape Leveque (locally known as Kooljaman) enjoy a picnic lunch and time to relax on the pristine beaches and spectacular coastline the cape is renowned for. Go for a swim, try some snorkeling, take a walk along the sands or just soak up the sun's warm rays on the beach.

Returning by 4WD, arrive back in Broome at around 6:30pm. Or choose to catch a direct flight back to Broome at around 4pm.

Our Tour Director Gary was exceptional. His sense of humour and extensive knowledge made this tour wonderful. Especially when their are long distances to get their . The lunch was very tasty and the extra tour information by the Bardi aboriginal people were great We learned so much. Very interesting about pearl farming and aqua culture. Our final stop in Cape Leveque was beautiful. A refreshing swim in the most amazing beach I ever seen. No need to travel overseas. We have beauty at our door step. It's a must .! Kimberley wild is an excellent company. The FWD vehicle was very comfortable. The cost of the tour was reasonable given it was from 6.45 to 6.30 pm. Morning tea. Lunch and afternoon tea provided . All of which was lovely. I would recommend this tour . And infact have booked to go on their 5 day tour in 2022.

We had michelle as our guide/driver. She told great stories of the region and was very generous with our morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We saw and learnt so much in one day. She was very patient even when I was always the last on the bus and needed a toilet stop!

Great day with informative guide. It’s a long drive there and back but our guide/driverJames helped the time fly by by regaling us with entertaining stories of the history of the Dampier Peninsula. Lovely lunch of barramundi at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm and Russell at the hatchery was fabulous. Knowledgeable and funny. Cape Leveque was a bit of a let down - onshore winds and low tide made for a very brief swim, but you can’t do much about the weather!

I went on the one day Cape Leveque tour from Broome. Gary picked us up and was immediately warm and welcoming. He was very informative about the history of Broome and shared lots of interesting facts about the flora, fauna and land of Cape Leveque. We went to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm where we learnt about pearl culturing and had a lovely lunch. Next stop was an aquaculture farm which was interesting and set in a stunning location. We topped the day off with a swim and afternoon tea at Kooljaman. It was a fun day and very informative thanks to Gary.

A great tour to Cape Leveque. Our young driver and guide Nicole was fantastic. Long drive to get there 2 hrs but we’ll worth it. Cygnet bay pearl farm tour was very interesting and the lunch of barramundi was delicious. Then on to the fish farm another interesting place before a final stop at Kooljiman resort for a look around and swim. Lovely place. Back to Broome in 2 hrs again. A great day and a must do when in Broome.
